PROFESSIONAL FEMALE CARE
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) Department at ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital consists of an outpatient specialist clinic (Level 1), maternity wards (Level 3), labour and delivery suites (Level 4). Our outpatient specialist clinic is available 7 days a week. All clinic appointments at ANDORRA should be done at least three (3) days earlier.
Outpatient Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Antenatal Care (Antenatal Check-up)
- Postnatal Care (Postnatal Check-up)
- Lactation Counselling
- Pap smear
- Pelvic and Abdominal UltrasoundI
- Regular menstruation
- Family Planning procedures (Implanon, Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD)) and medication
- Fertility
- Sexual and Intimacy Screening
Inpatient Obstetrics
- Labour and Delivery
- Surgery: Elective Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS) and Emergency Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS)
- Bilateral Tubal Ligation during Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS)
- Others:
- Treatment for Hypertension in pregnancy
- Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM)
- Group B Streptococcus (GBS)
- External Cephalic Version (ECV)
- Hyperemesis Gravidarum (Severe Nausea & Vomiting)
- Premature contraction and bleeding in pregnancy such as threatened miscarriage, missed or incomplete miscarriage
Inpatient Gynaecology
- Minor Surgery:
- Hysteroscopy Dilation and Curettage (D&C)
- Colposcopy/Cervical Biopsy/Removal of Cervical Polyp
- Evacuation of Retained Products of Conception (ERPC) for miscarriage cases
- Major Surgery:
- Myomectomy for Uterine Fibroid
- Total Abdominal Hysterectomy and Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy (TAHBSO) for removal of uterus and ovaries
- Cystectomy for removal of the cyst
- Laparoscopic surgery for assessment of fallopian tubes for infertility cases, removal of fibroid and ovarian cyst, ovarian drilling for PCOS, Tubal Ligation
