Today is a day for us to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. On every March 8th, we celebrate International Women's Day to honour all women, salute their courage, celebrate their success and raise awareness on women's equality. It's a day where women are recognized and appreciated for all their hard work and dedication.
As the CEO of ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital, I hope to empower all ANDORRA staff to achieve their goal and to inspire them to move towards their dream and all the success they deserve. The empowerment of women is a great responsibility that all these women needed. Although most of ANDORRA's staff are women, I made sure that gender's equality is being maintained.
The premium way to maintain gender equality in a workplace is to manage access to the same rewards, opportunities and resources for all genders. This could also mean equal pay and benefits for comparable roles with similar responsibilities, provide equal opportunities for promotions and career progression, and also equal consideration of needs despite their gender.
The world is moving towards achieving gender balance. It's moving towards equality for both men and women. International Women's Day is a day where everyone is appreciated, loved and cared for, for everything they have done and offered to make this world a better place. It's a day when everyone acknowledges the value and importance of women in their lives - of the women in the world is immense.
