Influenza vaccination is an important preventive measure that helps reduce the risk of infection while offering added protection to individuals who may be more vulnerable to influenza-related complications.

What Is Influenza?

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes

or speaks, as well as through close contact. While many individuals recover within several days, influenza may lead to more serious complications, particularly among young children, pregnant women, older adults and individuals with chronic medical conditions or weakened immune systems.

Who Should Consider Influenza Vaccination?

Influenza vaccination may be recommended for:

• Adults and children aged six months and above, subject to clinical assessment and suitability
• Pregnant women
• Adults aged 60 years and above
• Individuals with chronic medical conditions
• Healthcare professionals and caregivers
• Individuals who wish to reduce their risk of influenza while helping to protect vulnerable family members

Terms and Conditions

1. This promotion is valid from 4 August 2026 to 30 September 2026.
2. The promotional rate is RM69 per person and applies to adults and children, subject to clinical assessment and medical suitability.
3. The promotional package must be purchased and redeemed on or before 30 September 2026.
4. From 1 October 2026, the promotional rate will no longer apply, and the influenza vaccination price will revert to the standard rate of RM90.66.
5. Any promotional package that remains unutilised after 30 September 2026 will be forfeited.
6. The promotional package is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, other items or services.
7. For children below 13 years old, the influenza vaccination must be administered by a Paediatric Specialist.
8. The Paediatric Consultation Fee for children below 13 years old is not included in the promotional package and will be charged separately.
9. The promotional package does not include:
   • Medical Officer Consultation Fee, where applicable
   • Paediatric Consultation Fee for children below 13 years old
   • RM20 registration fee for new patients
   • Additional investigations, medications or treatments, where required
10. The promotional package may be purchased through ANDORRA’s official website or at the ANDORRA Billing Counter.
11. Walk-in vaccination is available, subject to vaccine stock and doctor availability. Advance appointment booking is recommended.
12. Vaccination is subject to clinical assessment, medical suitability and vaccine availability.
13. ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this promotion when necessary.
