ANDORRA's 4th Anniversary | An Appreciation To Our Guests

22 December 2017 marks the date of the establishment of ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital, founded by Dr Khamsiah Muda who is also one of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialists at the hospital.

It was built with the concept of Shariah-friendly, which focuses on the comfort and privacy of Muslim and non-Muslim women who choose to be taken care of by female doctors and nurses while receiving their treatments.

Based on the philosophies of “Ad-Durrah” which carries the meaning of a Pearl in Arabic, ANDORRA regards all of its guests as the precious Pearls. Just like how a pearl is embraced within the oyster with the utmost care, nurtured with layers after layers of love, all of the employees, known as the Guardians of ANDORRA aim to keep their guests’ best interest at heart with passion, affection and sacrifice.

The Guardians of ANDORRA takes the guests’ first-hand experience seriously by instilling the hospital’s core values of P.E.A.R.L, which stands for Passion, Empathy, Affectionate, Respect and Love while on duty.

Using these core values as the pillars for the staff's daily routine at work, the fourth year operation of ANDORRA marks the highest achievement in its revenue and overall performance.

Aside from its thriving revenue, ANDORRA has become one of the most talked about hospitals this year among married couples, parents, women as well as healthcare industry players themselves. The staff's first-class hospitality complete with top-grade facilities piqued everyone's curiosity. Thus, this year's anniversary celebration is held mainly as an appreciation to our guests who have supported ANDORRA all this while, as well as our media friends who have been there with us since day one.

Thank you so much for all your support! Without you, we will not be standing tall until today... and because of you, we are able to continue providing the best care to all women and children and for that, from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say thank you.

As a token of appreciation, this year also marks the launch of ANDORRA's official corporate song, The Pearls of ANDORRA. This song perfectly tells the story of ANDORRA and the core values that we uphold in order to give the best treatments and experience to you, our precious guests. As the Founder of ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital, Dr Khamsiah Muda is portrayed as a motherly figure who cares for every woman and child with unconditional love, the same way we treat our guests who come to ANDORRA.

However, this year's celebration was not as merry as past years' events as we are also still grieving the flash flood tragedy that hit us, our family and friends in Selangor, Pahang and a few other states in Malaysia. This time around, it was one of the worst flood incidents that has ever happened in Malaysia.

ANDORRA's Recreational Club Rescue Team went to Hulu Langat, Selangor last week to donate some preloved clothes and other basic necessities. Although our donation to flood victims in Hulu Langat, Selangor was not much, we hope it could more or less lift their burden. We wish the ones affected by flash flood around the country will stay strong and stand back up taller than ever.

We hope 2022 will become a better year for all of us and our loved ones.

Happy 4th Anniversary, ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital!
